Our Story
While studying at university, Huddled founders Archer Simmonds, Dhruv Verma, and Davin Karunanayake witnessed a strikingly large number of students grappling with feelings of isolation and disconnection.
This was a challenge they had all personally experienced as well and in late 2022, they came together to think of a way to address this.
Motivated by their own encounters, the trio embarked on a mission to create a piece of software that would give students a sense of belonging and foster vibrant communities within the higher education setting.
Their ambitious goal was to combat the rising rates of stress-induced dropouts and make a lasting impact on the 250 million higher education students and the 20,000 universities scattered across the globe.
